The peaceful and private Quinta las Flores awaits us… With gorgeous grounds, gardens, fountains, pools and areas to paint and relax.  There will be side excursions into Antigua which has been designated a World Heritage Center.  People come here from all over the world to study Spanish and enjoy the 500 year old history of Europe's entry into the new world.

Spend evenings in Antigua, where 500 years of Spanish conquest meets 2000 years of Mayan History. Arches, fountains, Internet cafés, shops & markets coexist with old world ruins & ancient Mayan culture.

If you travel with someone who does not paint, they may be interested in other side excursions or in a volunteer portion of this adventure which may be a life-giving experience all on its own.

Live in the old estate of a coffee plantation for two days and learn to really enjoy and understand your coffee, (and your macadamia nuts, your bamboo and cheese). Finish off in a beautiful all-inclusive Lago Del Atitlan hotel set against one of the most stunning lakes in all of Central America.
